This prevents them from touching. The crossarm also supports insulator strings. The conductors hang from the insulators. This is a simple but important part of any power line.

The Power Crossarm is made from angle steel. The steel is strong and lightweight. The crossarm is formed from a single piece of angle or from two pieces bolted together. It has holes at each end for the insulators. It also has holes in the center for mounting to the pole. We cut and drill all holes on our CNC lines. The hole positions are accurate.

Single and Double Crossarm Designs

Mounting to the Pole
The Power Crossarm mounts to the pole with a bracket or clamp. The bracket wraps around the pole. The crossarm bolts to the bracket. The connection is strong and secure. We supply the bracket and bolts with the crossarm. The mounting hardware is galvanized. This prevents rust at the connection point.
