The flange is the most critical part of this pole. Every bolt hole must align with the matching flange on the next segment. We use CNC machines to drill the flange holes. The hole pattern matches exactly. The flange face must be flat. We check the flatness after welding. If the flange warps during welding, we re-machine it flat. This precision ensures your crew can bolt the sections together with ease. No reaming is required.

Bolting for a Secure Fit
Our Flanged Steel Pole uses high-strength bolts for the flange connections. We supply the bolts, nuts, and washers. The bolts are tightened to a specific torque. Our instruction manual provides the torque values. The bolted connection is as strong as a welded joint. It also allows for future modifications. Your team can add extensions or change equipment configurations more easily with flanged connections.
