An aesthetically pleasing appearance is another advantage of steel poles. In urban construction and renovation, the aesthetic appeal of the city is a concern, which also places demands on power line installation, especially in urban landscaped road areas. Traditional towers sometimes fail to meet aesthetic requirements. Steel poles, with their relatively compact structure and smaller size, can, to a certain extent, satisfy the aesthetic needs.

 

Steel pole construction is simple and quick.


Traditional tower construction typically involves tower assembly, whether as a whole or in sections, which takes a relatively long time. Steel pole construction usually eliminates the need for on-site assembly; after installing crossarms, the entire tower can be erected, resulting in faster construction. It is estimated that a construction team can erect approximately 1.5 to 2 traditional towers per day, while steel poles can erect around 10. Therefore, using steel poles helps improve construction efficiency and shorten the construction period. Furthermore, the application of patented hoisting techniques for transmission steel poles facilitates stable hoisting operations.

 

Steel pole materials are less prone to theft. The loss of tower materials has been a problem affecting the safe operation of transmission towers. Steel poles use integral plug-in or flange connections, which largely prevents component loss and reduces related safety hazards.

 

Steel poles have strong disaster resistance. In reconstruction projects, power steel poles are used in sections crossing or near rivers, with pile depths reaching up to 12 meters, enhancing their resistance to erosion and impact.

 

Power transmission steel poles also feature shorter production cycles, the ability to withstand greater stress, and higher stability.
