The Self Supporting Communication Tower uses angle steel or steel tubes. These members form a lattice. The cross-section is triangular or square. Both shapes are strong. We choose the shape based on your site. The open lattice lets wind pass through. This reduces the wind load on the tower. The tower can be very tall. We have built towers up to 260 feet high. Precision Fabrication of Every Member
Every member of the Self Supporting Communication Tower is fabricated with care. We cut and drill angle steel on our CNC lines. The bolt holes are accurate to within a small tolerance. The diagonal members are cut to exact angles. We fabricate the gusset plates on our laser cutter. These plates connect the members at each joint. All parts are marked with identification numbers. This helps your crew find and install each member quickly.

05 ON-SITE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS

Trial Assembly for Accuracy
Before we deliver the Self Supporting Communication Tower, we assemble it in our yard. This is a trial run. We check that every bolt hole aligns. We measure the overall height and the platform positions. If we find any mismatch, we fix it before shipment. This trial assembly is critical. It ensures the tower will go together easily at your site. It also reduces the risk of lost time and frustrated crews.
